Front of House Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Front of House Manager to lead our team and help us continue to elevate the guest experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading our front of house staff in delivering high-quality service. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. This position will also assist in managing FOH inventory, PAR sheets, ordering & receiving products used in the FOH, vendor management i.e. food trucks, musicians & more. Ideally this position would be held by someone who enjoys and excels in organization & can help uphold & evolve our Sequences & Standards as well as Policies & Procedures

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the front of house.
  • Supervise and coordinate all front of house activities, ensuring a seamless and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and an inviting environment.
  • Address guest feedback and resolve any service-related issues promptly.
  • Monitor service standards and implement strategies for improvement to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house.
  • Manage and train front of house staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with the bar team to ensure proper inventory management and stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the establishment.
  • Scheduling and payroll assistance.
  • Coordinate events and promotions to drive guest engagement and increase sales; assist with event planning and execution, including special promotions and private functions.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to implement new ideas and improve processes.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in a bar or restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
  • Experience in small to large scale events is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of food and beverage experience necessary.
  • Certifications: Must have current Food Handlers and Alcohol Certifications.
  • Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or older.
  • Mindset: Friendly, inclusive, and customer-oriented.
  • Availability: Open availability preferred.
