An Introduction to Han Kombucha’s Latest Creation, JUN BUG
If you’re new to the world of kombucha or find yourself wondering what sets JUN BUG apart, today we’re lifting the veil on the better-for-you beverage known as jun kombucha, and more specifically, our newest creation – JUN BUG Blueberry Lavender Kombucha.
What is Jun Kombucha?
Jun kombucha is a unique and nuanced variation of the more familiar traditional kombucha. While traditional kombucha is typically fermented with black or green tea and cane sugar, jun kombucha uses only green tea and raw honey as its base. This subtle tweak not only imparts a distinct flavor but also results in a slightly lighter and effervescent brew. Jun is pronounced so it rhymes with “fun” instead of like the month “June.”
At Han’s Kombucha, we are committed to quality ingredients and craftsmanship. Our jun kombucha features locally sourced honey from Blind Goose Farm in Salt Lake City and tea purchased from a Rainforest Alliance Certified, Fair Trade B Corp farm. We thought this jun kombucha base would blend perfectly with spring vibes of blueberries and florals, and thus, JUN BUG was born!

Meet our newest seasonal drop, JUN BUG, a vibrant blend of jun kombucha boasting blueberries, local honey, and locally grown lavender from Lawtonwood Lavender for a sweet touch. You’ll enjoy a refreshing burst of spring with the perfect balance of tart blueberries and floral lavender notes for a limited time. The gorgeous can art was created by former Salt Lake resident, Jill Dehaan. We are so in love with it we had to put it on a bandana and t-shirt as well!

One of the key values of Han’s Kombucha is our commitment to sourcing locally when possible. The honey and lavender used in JUN BUG are harvested right here in Salt Lake City where our kombucha is brewed. This not only ensures the freshest and finest ingredients, but also contributes to the unique local charm infused into every can from our local terroir.
